Creating Goals

A custom built home means one that is built custom for your life. This home must meet your family’s needs and fulfill your dreams of what a home is – whether that’s a retreat, a vacation home, or a permanent residence. For Eastmark to build that house for you, we need to understand your ideas. We’ll ask you questions to get to know you so we can guide you in this process.

Our first meeting is a chance for us to learn about your plans and dreams for your Northern Michigan custom home. It’s at this point in the process that I’ll ask you where you intend to build. Do you own a lot already, or will you buy land? Where? What is the setting like and how do you want to make full use of it? We want to walk your land with you so we can envision your dream – or guide you towards a location that will be perfectly suited for your goals.

Another question we’ll ask you is, “How do you plan to use this house?” The stage you are at in your life will influence its design. We will build a house for you that will flow seamlessly with your life and its goals while at the same time creating something that will continue to be beautiful and useful to you and your family for decades.

Choosing a builder to work with on this kind of project is a big decision. Beyond basic ability you need to be able to trust that the people you will involve in this process will understand you, connect with your family, and communicate clearly throughout the build so that what is in your mind and your heart becomes real.

There’s nothing like building a dream home from the ground up, making the dreams you have concrete with every room and every detail perfect. The Eastmark home-building team has built custom homes in many gorgeous locales, including Traverse City, Glen Arbor, Boyne Falls, and Charlevoix. If you’re looking to build a home in Northern Michigan, we have both the experience and the ability to make dreams come true.
